This November, Clevedon LitFest will re-launch Celebration of the Book as a new one-day convention of books and book arts.
Celebration of the Book will bring together local authors and book artists from across the southwest for a day of workshops, talks, demonstrations and exhibitions.
We’ll have opportunities for you to try your hand at bookbinding and other crafts; meet authors writing everything from fiction to memoir to poetry; learn about the craft of writing and routes into publishing; and listen to captivating readings. The Book & Makers Market will have loads of great books, stationery and other crafts on offer, just in time for your Christmas shopping.
In the evening, enjoy a talk from our headline guest (to be announced) then stick around for a drink and socialise with new friends.
If you’re passionate about words and beautifully designed books, you’ll find plenty to enjoy at Celebration of the Book. Entry to the book market is FREE. Tickets to the talks and workshops will go on sale in September.
